A world in which language has returned to a child-like state full of strange words and errors. A strangely world in which men beat their fathers then bed their mothers. Such is the curse of Thebes. Caroline Reader has adapted Sophocles' classic tragedies in to a striking, fast-moving and lively play which is especially suitable for youth theatre, secondary school and student productions.
